2. Stroll Through Brookgreen Gardens

They offer eco-tours, local cruises, kayaking, boat tours, and even dolphin watching. For a day full of outdoor activities and watersports, this is the place to be.

A popular favorite for locals and visitors alike, the Marsh Walk is a paradise for anyone looking to enjoy dinner and a few drinks with a spectacular view. Discover the local culture while strolling along the boardwalk and observing the wildlife right beneath your feet.
There are many seafood restaurants to choose from, and you can even catch live music at most of them.
All restaurants on the Marsh offer an indoor and outdoor dining experience, as well as waterfront dining, and a few smaller bars located outside the restaurant. Some of our favorites are Dead Dog Saloon and Drunken Jack’s.
Watch as the fishermen bring in fresh fish from their boats each day and supply the local restaurants with their catch. Some may even say Murrells Inlet is the seafood capital of South Carolina.
5. Reflect at the Sea Memorial at Morse Park Landing

Morse Park Landing is a unique and serene spot to visit. The beautiful greenery and deep blue ocean create a calm and soothing atmosphere that is perfect for taking a break from all of the hustle and bustle.
As you enjoy the park’s wide variety of scenery, you can also visit the monument located there to honor the death of the sailors and fishermen of the area. The monument offers visitors a glimpse into the culture and history of Murrells Inlet, while showcasing the beauty that the area has to offer.
6. Shop at Lee’s Farmers Market

For those who love exploring and finding new food, this is the place for you. At Lee’s Farmers Market, you can find the best high-quality meat and wheat products, as well as sliced bread and beef that are locally sourced.
Browse through the Lowcountry market and choose from items like fresh cheese, homemade pasta, canned jellies, herbs, fresh sausages, wine, homemade baked goods, and of course, locally grown fruits and vegetables. The market is in session all seasons from Monday to Saturday. Come and find fresh vegetables for the season, or stock up on your favorite desserts and cheeses to hold you over until the next time you visit.
7. Admire St. Michael’s Catholic Church

Bask in the beauty of the architecture of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. View the large, stained glass windows, which are over one hundred years old, or the tall cathedral ceilings as you explore the church. The church is open to the public year-round and can be visited during Mass hours to participate in services.
After the service, head out to the courtyard and see the fountains or even visit the gift shop. The church is located in downtown Murrells Inlet, off Highway 17 Business, in the Garden City Area.
8. Play a Round of Golf at Wachesaw Plantation Club
