From the beautiful landscape to the sculpture gardens and endless fountains, Brookgreen Gardens is a local and visitors favorite. Take a long walk through the garden or spot the wildlife nestled in the trees and around the garden. Brookgreen Gardens hosts several events throughout the year such as Night of a Thousand Candles, Tea Parties, and much more. The garden is located right across the street from Huntington Beach State Park, so you can visit both places in one day.

Located at the end of the MarshWalk, the marina is well known for its fishing charters and water tours. Enjoy a day out on the deep blue ocean fishing, or hit the waves on a jet ski. They offer eco-tours, local cruises, kayaking, boat tours, and even dolphin watching. For a day full of outdoor activities and watersports, this is the place to be.

A popular favorite for locals and for visitors, the Marsh Walk is a paradise for anyone looking to have dinner and a few drinks with a spectacular view. Learn the culture of the are while walking down the boardwalk and see the wildlife right under your feet. There are many seafood restaurants to choose from and you can even catch live music at most of them. All restaurants on the Marsh offer an indoor and outdoor dining experience, waterfront dining, as well as a few smaller bars located outside of the restaurant. Some of our favorites are Dead Dog Saloon and Drunken Jack’s. Watch the Crazy Sister Marina Bring in fresh fish off of their boats each day and supply the local restaurants with fish. Some may even say Murrells Inlet is the seafood capital.

Morse Park Landing is a unique and serene spot to visit. The beautiful greenery and deep blue ocean create a calm and soothing atmosphere that is perfect for taking a break from all of the hustle and bustle. Along with the breathtaking atmosphere, you can also visit the monument that is located there to honor the death of the sailors and fisherman of the area. For those who love exploring and finding new food, this is the place for you. At Lee’s Farmers Market, you can find the best high. quality meat and wheat products, as well as sliced bread and beef that are locally sourced. Bask in the beauty of the architecture of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. View the large stained glass windows that are over one hundred years old or the tall cathedral ceilings as you explore the church. The church is open to the public year-round and can be visited for mass hours and participate in a service. After the service head out to the courtyard and see the fountains or even visit the gift shop. The church is located in downtown Murrells Inlet off of Hwy 17 Business, in the Garden City Area.
